Mindful New Year's Resolution Workshop

Saturday, December 31st, 2-4:30pm

Join Sunrise Yoga Center for an afternoon of relaxing yoga practice centered around positive intention, connecting inward, and grounding amidst the turning of the new year. Explore gentle movement, yoga philosophy (with special focus on the Yamas and Niyamas), and setting intentions and resolutions the yogic way- compassionately, with an open mind and heart. The session will end with guided Yoga Nidra focusing on developing Sankalpa, or heart’s intention, to help foster meaningful growth in the New Year.

No prior yoga experience is necessary, and all movement-based parts of the workshop can be adapted to all physical abilities. Please email Matt ahead of time with specific concerns.

New Year's Power Yoga Workshop

Kripalu Power Yoga - The perfect post-holiday treat for body and mind.

Join Sunrise for a 5-week Power Yoga Workshop.

The workshop will perfectly blend the fitness benefits of asana and flow, while maintaining the Kripalu philosophy that encompasses movement connected to breath, nonjudgmental observation of the body and mind within its practice, mindfulness and meditation. This workshop is suited for beginner, intermediate and advanced practitioners of yoga, but come prepared to sweat and connect inward.

$60 for the series, $15 for individual drop ins.

Slow Flow Yoga with Astrid

Astrid is a Vinyasa certified teacher. Her slow flow class is ideally suited for people who may be new to hatha yoga, getting back into yoga/ exercise after some time, dealing with recovery from injuries, ageing or just feeling the need for a slower class. Emphasis is on a blend of meditation, breath work, pose instruction and flowing through poses with the breath.
